Donations

The artist Hiroko OKAMOTO, who died suddenly at the age of 50 years, has left in her studio in Saint-Ouen near Paris, more than 3,000 drawings and engravings. Given the bitterness and grief left by a sudden death, an association dedicated to the artist was born in May 2009, from the common will of a group of friends engravers in France, and the support of her family and friends in Japan, to publicize the work of this artist to promote his work through donations, sales and exhibitions.

Since its inception, the Association Hiroko Okamoto has done over twenty donations in France, Europe and worldwide. Donations to museums, institutions, art libraries and media centers have mostly given rise thereafter in numerous exhibitions. Each time the pleasure of seeing this artist relive through her work is a gift of life.
